Jamie Colby

Colby is an anchor, National News Correspondent, and anchor of Fox News. He has joined the organization since July of 2003. Colby was an anchor and reporter at CBS News and was also an anchor fill-in for CBS Up to the Minute. Colby was previously an CNN reporter. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is licensed to practice law for New York City, California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. In 2002, she was awarded the Edward R.Murrow National Award for her coverage of the attacks of 9/11. Colby also received the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000, as well as in 2001, the Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week named her "Rising News Star to Follow". Colby is an attorney, who as well as her work as a journalist, also worked for 10 years as a private practitioner. Her law practice began working for an Hollywood entertainment firm that took her to The Tonight Show. Colby worked alongside Johnny Carson at the age of 22 in both his renewal of contract and separation from NBC.
