Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally when she was a teenager in Philly's Prince Music Theater. Her first production as a professional was The Snow Queen. The Arden Theater production of Into the Woods the actress won an award called the Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. She went on to reprise this role when she made her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. In the same year, she was nominated for an Drama League Award. Molly also appeared on Broadway in the stage revival of Fiddler on the Roof. Molly then went to Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with an B.A. Her graduation was in 2008 and she earned an B.A. In the same time frame she debuted in the role of Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. After graduating Molly appeared in a variety of Off-Broadway plays including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and in some productions on television, such as Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was a major part in a variety of regional plays, including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with the Barrington Stage Company and North Shore Music Theatre in the year 2008 as well as Westport Country Playhouse s 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank where she played Anne. Molly is most well-known as the character Ali who is a teen daughter in Paranormal Activity 2, a film from 2010, in which Jack Burditt wrote and directed.
