Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actress best known for her part as Renee Walker in the American television series 24 as well as for her motion capture and voice work for the character of Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis, graduating in 1995. In her early years she was a competitor in Irish dance and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she graduated in 1999. Wersching started her acting career through appearances on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, then went on to play appearing as a guest on such shows as Charmed Killer Instinct, Supernatural and Cold Case. From March 2007 until November 2007, she played the recurring role as Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap show General Hospital. In addition, she's performed in theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. Also, she was a regular in the series of the Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played the catcher role for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that, in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us, Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap of the character Tess. Geoff Keighley teased her character via Twitter before she was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7th, 2012. Wersching would be playing the part of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
