Will Ferrell

Will Ferrell was a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live before going to appear in major-screen comedies like 'Elf' "Anchorman," as well as Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine in the year 1967. He began his comedy career as a part of the Los Angeles-based group The Groundlings. Following his seven years as a Saturday Night Life cast member, Ferrell became one of the most renowned comedic actors of the field by releasing off-color films such as Old School (2003) or Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was also a co-founder of the streaming video site Funny or Die and enjoyed his success as a voice actor in animated films like Megamind (2010). He was himself, as he admitted was not exactly the class clown when he was an University High School student. Ferrell was a more relaxed person in suburban homes and didn't exhibit the same kind of outrageous or humorous outbursts later to define his career. Ferrell wasn't a perfect straight man but that's not to say that he wasn't. The hints of his comic talents was seen every morning at high school, when he disguised himself to make the daily announcements through the PA system. Ferrell graduated from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 1986. He joined the Delta Tau fraternity, and was pursuing a degree in sports journalism.
