Elizabeth Jane Hurley has been a model and actress in England since the late 1980s. In the year 1990 there was speculation that she might be Hugh Grant's lover. As of 1994, Hugh Grant became the focus of the world's media due to the global box office success of his movie Four Weddings and a Funeral Hurley was with him at the premiere of the film in Los Angeles premiere in a plunged black Versace gown, which was pinned together by gold safety pins that earned her instant media notice. Hurley's partnership to Estee Lauder, a cosmetics producer, is regarded as a high point in her professional career. Hurley began her modeling contract with the company in the year she turned 29. The company has since used Hurley as a model for their products, especially for perfumes including Sensuous Intuitions as well as Pleasures. The most famous of her roles is her part as Vanessa Kensington, in the popular spy-films International Man of Mystery (2007) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (2000).
