Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was born at Los Angeles, California on November 18th 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed an early talent to play sports while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic ability at the time. After just 10 weeks of her initial attempt, she was second in the 200 meter race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix completed high school and signed a pro-contract for Adidas. In the year 2004, she enrolled in the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic gold at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. She was the youngest winner of the 200 meters at the World Championships in Helsinki in the year 2005. She defended her title the following year, by beating time-tested Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top 3 throughout her competitions during the Olympics held at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
