Valerie Bertinelli

Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 23rd, 1960)[2] is an American actor. Her first recognition came at the age of adolescence when she played Barbara Cooper Royer on the sitcom One Day at a Time (1975-1984) in which she was awarded the two Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a Show, Miniseries or Television Film. Her subsequent success as an adult gained her stardom for her role as Gloria in the Christian drama Touched by an Angel (2001-2003) and Melanie Moretti on the sitcom Hot in Cleveland (2010-2015), the latter of which gained her a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. As of 2012, she was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bertinelli hosts a number of programs for Food Network, such as the cooking show Valerie's Home Cooking (2015-2023) and Kids Baking Championship (2015-present) with 2 Daytime Emmy Awards for the first show out of six nominations. Bertinelli's new contract was signed with Food Network on December 20 in 2021. Bertinelli married rocker Eddie Van Halen between the years 1981-2007. She had one child with him, Wolfgang.
